Welcome to UgroShore,  An Island in the lap of Brahmaputra River is a treat to the eyes.  Located on the west side of Kolia Bhumura Bridge, enroute Kaliabor, towards Tezpur, this scenic island of 241.32 acres of land. Taken up as a Shore tourism project, with the help of Assam Tourism Development Corporation, Guwahati, this unique initiative is aimed to help tourists reconnect with nature and also help the local communities to showcase their culture & handloom  products in the campsite itself.

It is home to many wild animals such as Buffaloes, Wild Pigs, Deers etc. As we don’t want to disturb the ecosystem of the Island, we try to maintain safe distance from the animals so that they don’t feel threatened by the presence of humans as they are not used to it. So, we have some protocols to be followed yet fully live in this wild land.

Enjoy the wilderness of UgroShore.

We value and safeguard diversity as a strength of nature and those who study it. Discrimination undermines our efforts to develop resilient communities and has no place on furut camp.
