Kurseong

Kurseong, also known as the ‘Land of White Orchids,’ is a hill station near Darjeeling noted for its waterfalls, temples, and Buddhist gompas, as well as the spectacular views it offers.

Most of the year, the weather in Kurseong is moderate and pleasant. During the monsoon season, the rain gods are especially kind, as the town is drenched for days on end. The rains are desperately needed for the area’s vegetation and fauna.

At sunset, the sky becomes a kaleidoscope of the most gorgeous colours. In the town, you can witness British relics in the form of churches and schools. This little hill town is a nice place to visit if you’re seeking for a more tranquil alternative to Darjeeling.

We value and safeguard diversity as a strength of nature and those who study it. Discrimination undermines our efforts to develop resilient communities and has no place on furut camp.
