Situated by the proper forest area of Mirik Bunkulung, lies a jungle camp, the Bunkulung Jungle Camp at a walking distance from the road taking to the interior of the village. Spread across a wide distance, surrounded by the greens and sounds of insects fills the ears.  Devoid of hotel luxury, the two cottages offer rustic, raw feel of being in the midst of nature. There are few other Bunkulung homestays but the Jungle Camp with its naturistic feel will definitely provide a unique experience. The balcony with a small seating area carved out of the bark of the tree and wide views of the forested hills are thrilling at night. Approaching to its interior, its naturistic beauty will definitely win the hearts of Nature lovers.

The beds carved out of trees compliments the rustic nature. One will surely want to jump into the beds the very moment they look at it. Although the rooms consist of small chairs and tables made out of bamboo but are quite comfortable making it look adorable. And the best part, the rooms are given tent looks along with the sheets of fabric. The decor of the room will make one feel like living in a tent. Even the bathroom has been transformed into such decor. The natural lights entering the room offers a convincing feeling of camping into the jungle.

The Bunkulung Jungle Camp offers spaces available for students, accompanied by their parents or teachers. Students are brought here to make them experience the raw nature and know the culture of the locals. The Jungle Camp arranges trekking down to the Balason and children enjoy and gathers a lifelong experience. The students are made to rest at the tents being put just in front of the cottages where they can enjoy to the fullest. Whereas, the parents or teachers accompanying them stays at the rooms.
